Science experiment

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to talk to you about my science experiment. In the kaupeka hub we have been talking about science and we had to do four science experiments structure, matter, heart rate and water cycle. But today I am going to talk about structure. For structure we had to make a good structured and strong bridge. We could only had a certain amount of materials and they were, fifty popsicle sticks, blue tack, tape and paper. We had to make it in 15 mins and we were all in partners. For my bridge I thought about the strongest shape which is a triangle but then I went for a different method and I put most of the popsicle sticks at the bottom and we tried to put most of the weight on the sides so the bridge could hold. Finally it was time for the test the first test was a white board marker and we didn't pass the test because it needed to be stronger in the middle too. For this science experiment I learnt that maybe if I did use the method of doing a triangle bridge it may have worked but I might do that next time. I really enjoyed this task it was really fun and I hope to make my bridge stronger next time.

Have you done an experiment like this?
