Diana Isaac - rest home

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am gonna talk about Diana Isaac. Diana Isaac is a rest home that isn't far from our school so we walked there. In Diana Isaac we made chocolate chip cookies with them and it was really nice getting to know them. My favourite part was probably talking to all of the elderly people and getting to know all of them and also making the cookies. Overall it was a fun experience and I want to go again.

Technology for this term

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to talk about my technology for term 3. For term 3 I am in plastics and in week 1 and 2 we made a dice. For week 3 we made a plastic key ring and we could put whatever we wanted on it and I put a adidas sign on it. For next term I am going to be doing fabrics and I'm really excited for that. I really enjoy plastics and making all of these things. My favourite part of plastics is is getting it finished and knowing what I have to work on next time.

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about my reading task. For reading this week I had to read a book called mata i pusi. I had to work on my predictions on the story so before we read the story we looked at the pictures and we predicted what was gonna happen. For my story there was a Samoan family and there was this girl that wanted to change her skin colour because people made fun of her. So this whole story was about discrimination.

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to talk about my speech topic. For this term we are doing speeches and all of our speeches are based on discrimination. My speech topic is " Does your hair colour affect who you are"  I will show you my intro so you get a little bit of a taster what my speech is about....Why are blondes dumb, and why are brunettes smart and is gingers either I don’t know, what i’m trying to say is... does your hair colour affect who you are? Do you think your hair colour affects who you are, well I don’t, and by the end of this speech I bet you won’t either.

Goals for term 2

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about my goals for this term. For this term I want to work on doing my timetable and getting it finished and not be stressed about it and I need to focus on getting it done. I also wanna work on my problem solving and understanding it and getting it finished. I mostly just want to be focused and get things done and putting them on task completion by the due date.

Cross country!!!

Hi everyone, today I am going to be talking about cross country. Last week we did cross country and the year 7/8's had to run 3km which was 3 laps of the field that we ran on and when I started I was so nervous and it was really scary because last year I ran 2km and I had to run a whole other lap. When I finished the race it was really nice to achieve it. I finally finished the race and I came 6th I was really proud of what I accomplished I liked running with my friends and I am now going to zones because the top 6 people go to zones so I just made it and overall it was really fun.

Our PBL for this term

Hi everyone, today I am gonna talk to you about my new PBL. This term for PBL we have been talking about discrimination. For PBL our driving question is "How do we speak up" I think we should speak up towards discrimination because in this world today discrimination has been a real habit and it has hurt alot of peoples feelings and if you don't know what discrimination is... it's sexism, racism, ageism and ableism. We are working on a project to try stop discrimination in New Zealand and all across the world. For my PBL I am going to be doing a poetry slam with a buddy and I am gonna be talking about the stereotype of hair colour
