Reading task

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to talk about my reading task. For reading I had a task and I had to do a KWL chart about underground soldiers and K stands for what do I know and W stands for what do I wonder and L stands for what do I learn. So we had to read the story and fill in all the boxes and we had to put five in K and L and in W we had to put 8 ideas overall it was very fun task to do. This is what mine turned out like.....

Winter sport

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about my winter sport. For winter sport there is netball, hockey, football and rugby and I play netball. I wanted to play netball cause I really enjoy it for netball I am in the netball A team It is really fun being in the A team because you get to verse people that are a big challenge. Winter sport is always on a Thursday and every Thursday I look forward to winter sport. Overall I think that winter is really fun and exciting every week.

My Math's Video

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about my math's video. At school on our bingo card as you saw in my previous blog I had to do a math's video and my math's video was for problem solving that week and we had to talk about stairs to squares. In this video I will explain about my math and my learning of how the pattern is growing.

Breakout - EDU

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about breakout - EDU.

In the kaupeka hub we got put in our current event groups and we had to do breakout - edu and the whole topic was about wonder and we had to find clues to unlock the box and the locks. This all got organised by the googlers and they did a pretty good job at hiding all of the things. We had a certain time that we had to complete it in I think we got a pretty good time. It was really fun especially when we actually opened up the box and there were all these messages and quotes from wonder. Overall it was really fun and I hope to do it again.

Teacher Strike

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog, today I'm going to be talking about the teacher strike on Wednesday. On Wednesday the teachers had a strike they were protesting not only to get money but to get more time with the kids. I think that the strike was good because the teachers spend to much time marking off things and having to do work at home so they don't really get much of a holiday so I think the protest was good, because they should be earning more and they should be spending more time with the kids.

My Reading task

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog today I'm going to be talking about my reading task. For my reading we had to get predictions and my book was called Violet Walrond and its about this New Zealand swimmer that tried to get into a New Zealand team so she made her own team. Then we had to make predictions about the pictures, the text and the subtitles. So here is my follow up

Bingo card

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog, today I am going to be talking about my book review for my bingo card. So for week 5 we had a bingo card and we had to complete a literacy task in one of the boxes and I chose a book review. Then we had to do the maths task and we had to complete the following problem solving of stairs to squares and once you had finished that you had to screencasify it and then put it up on task completion. Then I finished my basic facts and that was challenging but I finished it. Overall I really enjoyed this bingo card and I'm so happy I got everything done.
